Invitation to Join our 2017 CSA
We are so excited to offer Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Shares to our community. Full shares are enough food for a family of four (two adults and two children), or two adults who eat a large vegetarian diet. Half shares are designed for a single adult. Both share will include vegetables, herbs, fruit, and flowers.
20 Weeks: Early June through mid October.
WHERE AND HOW?
Weekly pickups are at the farmstand in front of the house. Pickups are Fridays 3:00-6:30 pm or Saturdays 9:00-11:00 am; with late season fruit option to pick your own.
$750 for a full share. $425 for a half share. We will provide you with two farm bags — one we will fill, the other you bring back with you for the following week's pickup.

Old Frog Pond Farm & Studio CSA Details
We are delighted to offer you fresh, nutritionally dense, certified organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers through our CSA. You support our farm and we support you with tasty, healthy food, picked or dug within a day of your 'pickup'. A full share will be enough food for a family with two adults and two children, or two adults with a large healthy vegetarian diet. Another option would be to split a share with a neighbor, friend, or co-worker; or order a half share.
Items you can expect in your CSA share include: Apples, Arugula, Beans, Beets, Blueberries, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Chard, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Garlic, Kale, Leeks, Lettuce, Onions, Potatoes, Peppers, Radishes, Raspberries, Spinach, Summer Squash, Winter Squash, and Tomatoes. We will also offer a range of fresh herbs and flowers, maybe even some Ginger, Shiitake Mushrooms, and Peaches if Mother Nature cooperates.
We have limited shares - so don't delay!
Full share price is $750. This cost covers 20 weeks of food, with each pick up consisting of 10-12 items. Half share price is $425 and will include less variety as well as quantity. Depending on availability and time of year, some items might appear more often and in larger amounts than others. We will do our best to ensure there is always enough variety each week and that you are not inundated with 10 pounds of zucchini, for example... unless of course you want 10 pounds of zucchini.
Farming is not easy. With this being said, you are taking on part of the risk that we take on as farmers. Drought, pests, and crop failures are possible, especially in today's changing climate (Booo). Just know that we will do our best to provide you with the most abundant amount of produce we have available.
Pickups for the CSA will take place on Fridays from 3:00 - 6:30 pm and on Saturdays from 9 - 11 am. You are responsible to pick one day and stick with that day throughout the season. We will be harvesting many items the day of your pickup to ensure the freshest food possible. If you are unable to pick up your share one week, we recommend having a close friend, family member, other CSA member, or carrier pigeon do the pick up. OK, maybe not the carrier pigeon, as shares can get pretty heavy.
We don't require a work commitment, but if you would like to volunteer for a few hours please let us know.
