Call for Art: The Art of Noticing
Old Frog Pond Farm’s 20th Outdoor Sculpture Walk
The Art of Noticing — a sculpture exhibit that invites contemplation and slowing down. We invite artists to submit sculptures that encourage reflection, presence, and deeper connection. Sculptures might be contemplative, playful, poetic, interactive; raise questions, prompt a dialogue, or evoke emotions.
We will invite our visitors to pause and reflect as they walk the trails. We look forward to seeing your sculptures that will frame and transform the experience of walking through the landscape of this organic farm. In conjunction with the sculpture exhibit a collection of plein air poems will be installed around the pond and through the woods.
Old Frog Pond Farm brings together agriculture, art, and community. The first organic pick-your-own apple orchard in the state, we continue to offer pick-your-own organic blueberries, raspberries, and apples, and sell our own herbal teas, jams, greens, and honey at our self-serve farmstand. We offer storytelling and music events, African drumming, and weekly meditation. The highlight of our year is the outdoor sculpture exhibit that draws crowds of visitors every fall.
Jurors: Linda Hoffman whose studio is at the farm and her daughter, Ariel Matisse.
