Come take a walk around the farm with Anna Fialkoff, our native plant nerd (her description!). Anna really knows her plants and this is a great opportunity to get to know some of the wild plants (natives, weeds, and invasives) that can be found growing on farms and in their surrounding wetlands and woodlands. If you bring a a Newcomb's Wildflower Guide or an iphone, together we will practice basic plant identification. Anna will also talk about the wildlife benefits and medicinal properties of many of the species we will identify. The walk will last about 1 1/2 hours and the fee is $10. RSVP to apples@oldfrogpondfarm.com.
We love building community through the rich blend of art, agriculture, and shared experiences. At Old Frog Pond Farm, we believe in cultivating not just the land, but also the bonds that bring us together. Our events are designed to inspire creativity, foster sustainable living, and celebrate the vibrant tapestry of our local culture.
