Susan Richmond will be leading a second bird walk at Old Frog Pond farm at the peak of the fall songbird migration! (We saw 30 species on our spring walk!)  We'll look for flocks of wood warblers, finches, and other migrating songbirds, as well as resident woodpeckers, waterfowl, herons, and hawks.  In fall, many songbird colors are muted, so we'll be especially attuned to shapes and songs. We'll search forest and meadow, orchard and wetland, and, of course, the shores of old frog pond.   Bring binoculars, a hat, and shoes for walking!  The walk will last about 2 hours and the fee is $10.
