2017 Plein Air Poetry

Walk with the 2017 Plein Air Poets to the sites that inspired their poems and listen to them read their words. This year's theme asked the poets in Editor, Susan Edwards Richmond's words, "to dig deeper, to go beyond surfaces, and draw, sometimes unbidden, wells of feeling from the landscape. For some, the farm granted welcome freedom, and, for others, the realization that,“I, I am still standing,” and that words may linger long after their creation.

The walk will take us around the pond, through the Medicine Wheel, to the Olympic Bell, and return through the Raspberry Patch on the way to the Orchard and Mediation Hut.

The event is free and there will be a reception following the walk. A chapbook of the 2017 collection of poems will be available for purchase for $12.

Thank you to the Acton-Boxborough, Groton, Harvard, and Littleton Cultural Councils for their continued support for the publication of the chapbook, and to the Stow Cultural Council, who gave us a first-time grant this year. All of these are local agencies, supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
