Terry House, OFPF Poetry Editor with Praying mantis

Terry House is an educator, arts reviewer, poet, and curator of the Poem of the Month blog.  She spent her childhood in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts and came of age in the pine woods and bayous of southern Arkansas and the sprawling ecosystem of Yellowstone National Park; and it is these disparate experiences, landscapes, and cultures which inform her work. An alum of the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Terry has published poetry in a variety of literary journals and anthologies including The Berkshire Review, The Anthology of New England Writers, and Birdsong: Poems in Celebration of Birds. At Old Frog Pond Farm she finds motivation, inspiration, fellowship, and joy in the annual Plein Air Poetry projects and walks.
